Millions of people around the world, from executives to bright college students to Academy award winners, secretly worry they're not as bright and capable as other people, think, they are. It's called the Impostor Syndrome and it hurts individuals and the organization. Fortunately, there is a cure. Join us for an interactive presentation led by speaker and award-winning author.
Dr. Young is an internationally recognized expert on impostor syndrome. She has spoken to over 80,000 people at such diverse organizations as Apple, Boeing, Merck, IBM, McDonalds, Intel, Facebook, Raymond James, Chrysler, BP, Motley Fool, Women in Commercial Real Estate, Society of Women Engineers, Harvard, Stanford, MIT, and many others. Her book, The Secret Thoughts of Successful Women (Random House) is now available in five languages and her advice has appeared in dozens of major publications around the world including BBC radio, CNN Money, The Wall Street Journal, Science, and O magazine. In her surprisingly humorous yet highly practical keynote Valerie promises to help you or those you manage or mentor to interrupt needless self-doubt.
